Over the years I've created many fall printables and what I really love celebrating about the fall is gratitude and specifically, Thanksgiving. This is why, while I have fun fall bookmarks, I wanted to make Thanksgiving bookmarks.

Now, Thanksgiving in Canada and the US definitely has its differences. First of all, Canadian Thanksgiving has nothing to do with pilgrims or football. And, Canadian Thanksgiving is in October, not November. Canadian Thanksgiving is all about the harvest and the gratitude we have for plentiful food and time with family. It happens to be my favorite holiday. It's all about food! What's not to love?
But, I have come to love American Thanksgiving too. In fact, I watch the Macy's parade with my kids every year, watch the football, and love having an excuse to make another pie or two. So, whether you are Canadian or American you are going to have fun with these Thanksgiving bookmarks.
Thanksgiving Bookmarks to Color
our printable Thanksgiving bookmarks
cardstock paper - white and colorful
scissors
pencil crayons and markers
double-sided tape
First up, you will want to print our sheet of 4 different Thanksgiving bookmarks. I've designed 4 different options. I always print our bookmarks on white cardstock paper. I like the weight of the cardstock, it means the bookmarks will be a little more durable. And, I like how pencil crayons look when colored on card stock - the color seems a little richer. But, you could totally use regular printer paper too.
Two of the bookmarks are all about gratitude "Give Thanks" and "Thankful for". The "Thankful for" bookmark has leaves where kids can write what or who they are thankful for.
I've also included one bookmark that is all about the bountiful food of Thanksgiving. All of the pies, apples, turkey, pumpkins, corn, and more. I love this one!
And, I've created a football bookmark too. This bookmark is very interactive. Kids can add their own logos to the football helmets and the football jersey. I went with a Buffalo Bills theme...because...GO BILLS GO! You can use the logos of your favorite NFL team, high school team, or college team, or make up your own. Have fun with this one.
Once you've colored your bookmarks you could use them as is or, I have another option. I like to use double-sided tape to adhere the bookmarks to another piece of colorful cardstock. I just like how the colorful paper makes the bookmarks look a little more finished. Of course, if you have access to a laminator that would be a great way to make sure these bookmarks are super durable.
How to Use Your Printable Bookmarks
All of our printable bookmarks make a fantastic classroom activity or library activity. Bookmarks are a fun way to get kids excited about reading. Include these bookmarks and a pack of pencil crayons in a gift bag for a child in your life. These Thanksgiving Day bookmarks would be the perfect activity for the "kid table" at your holiday dinner. Place a little cup of crayons on the table and the kids will have coloring. I also love having all of our fall printable activities in our car for long road trips. Clip them to a clipboard and these make a creative alternative to screen time.
However you use our printable bookmarks I hope you have fun and these Thanksgiving bookmarks give you an extra boost of gratitude!
