By Jen

title "10 remembrance day poppy crafts for kids" with collage of 4 poppy crafts

There are so many lovely ways that kids can connect to Remembrance Day. While we love sharing creative crafts for kids to make all year round, there is something special about Remembrance Day crafts. We've gathered together a collection of Remembrance Day crafts for kids to make.

My daughters' schools usually take on the role of providing my girls with a Remembrance Day filled with educational assemblies, special guest speakers and Remembrance Day crafts and activities. They even open the school for families to come and enjoy an assembly to make a moment of silence at 11 am.

It's important to reflect on the sacrifices that millions of people have made so we can live in peace. The sacrifices that are still being made by soldiers around the world. At home, we will be watching movies, reading books and creating art to honour the fallen. Wouldn't it be lovely to fill our homes with a flurry of poppy flowers? Pull out the craft supplies and create a beautiful piece of art to honour this important day.
