Living the Green Life...with Kids in 2013

Another year and another opportunity to live a greener life. Leading a life that respects the earth is so very important to our family. One of the most important jobs I have as a parent is finding ways to pass this life lesson on to my children. So, this year I'm looking forward to all of our new green adventures and sharing them with you, of course.

We'll be looking at new ways to reuse...

...ways to grow our own food...

...embrace local, outdoor fun.

Next week, we'll be taking part in a week-long series, called the ABCs Of...This series will have a fabulous group of bloggers thoroughly exploring different ideas related to their blogs. We'll be looking at the ABCs of Raising Eco-Friendly Kids. That means every day we'll be inspired by the letters of the alphabet and share what it means to raise an eco-friendly kid.

We really hope you will join us in embracing the greener side of life in 2013.

Make sure you are following along...

We've made a promise to our kids to spend at least 15 minutes outside every single day of the year this year, as part of that will be in our vegetable plot we're also going to make sure we reduce the miles that our food travels to from the back garden for much of it.

What a perfect challenge for 2013. I have a Country Kids linky each Saturday for outdoor fun with the kids so hope you will be able to join me there sometimes in 2013.
