the heart project

By Jen

It was just about a month ago that my friend Jamie at Hands On: As We Grow planted the seed of an idea. Jamie wanted to do something to express her love and support for her husband's young cousin Ellie, 4 years old, who is living with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. She reached out to the blogging community. What grew from the seed of an idea is this incredible collaborative book created by over 70 bloggers and filled with over 100 heart projects. All proceeds from the sale of this book will be donated to the American Heart Association (AHA).
Today is the official launch of The Heart Project. When you make a $5 donation to the American Heart Association (AHA) you will receive The Heart Project ebook. The ebook includes links to the projects that you see on the pages of the book. For every book purchased this month, CraftProjectIdeas.com will be donating $1 (up to $500) on your behalf to the AHA.

You can also purchase the soft cover book for $20 (+shipping). The soft cover book is full of beautiful vibrant colour images and is 8.5" x 8.5". For every book purchased $5 will be donated to the AHA.
US $20.00
Order the Printed Version
This book will only be available through the month of February, you don't want to miss purchasing this beautiful and thoughtful book. Here's a preview of what you will find inside the pages.
If you would like to simply make a donation to the American Heart Association, without purchasing the book, feel free to do so!

Also, many of the blogs who participated in the book will be giving away items associated with their contributions to The Heart Project. In addition there will be special giveaways from  Melissa and Doug, CraftProjects.com and Fudoo. Check out the giveaway schedule below.
A BIG thanks goes out to CraftProjectIdeas.com for their support of this project. Please stop by their Facebook page and show them some love.

On a personal note, I have to say that it has been an honour to contribute to this project. Even though the bloggers live all around the world, this one little girl's story and her loving family brought us all together. Thanks to Jamie at Hands on: As We Grow for her hours of hard work.

A true labour of love that we hope you all enjoy for years to come.

Much Love to all of the Contributing Bloggers
