You know we love a set of would you rather questions. I've made so many different editions, but I haven't made one all about the joys (and not so joyful) camping trip moments. This set of camping would you rather questions was a lot of fun to make and is the perfect camping trip game for families to play. (check out our camping trip word games, too)

When I was growing up, summertime meant packing up my grandparents' Volkswagen camper and going camping. We would arrive at the campsite and get busy setting up the tents for my sister and me, and all the campsite essentials. Back in the 80s, camping was much rougher than it is now. There was no Wi-Fi, and when you went camping, it was you, your family, and the trees.
One of the things I loved the most was sitting around the fire, at the end of the day, and sharing stories. They always seemed to be silly stories. We would play games, too. Which is why I thought making a camping edition of would you rather questions would be so much fun for families to take on a camping trip.
Would You Rather Camping Trip Edition
our printable camping trip would you rather questions
and, our printable would you rather camping trip questions single sheet
white cardstock
camping-themed pencils - these have little tent erasers!

All you need to do is print our camping trip question single sheet or our set of would you rather question cards, and then you are ready to play. Now, you could print multiple copies of our single-sheet version. If you are gathering around the campfire, you might only need one copy. The person holding the question sheet can ask the group the questions.
However, you could also print off a sheet for every camper and hand them out around the fire. Or, keep them for a rainy day at the campsite. And, our would you rather questions are perfect to pull out on a long road trip. They keep the kids entertained in the back seat.
How to Play With Would You Rather Questions

There are so many different ways to use our would you rather questions. This is a really fun game to play in the classroom or around the campfire. If playing in the classroom, divide the students into small groups and print enough copies so that each group has a handful of questions to debate. Then give the kids some time to contemplate their answers and discuss what they think. You can open the questions up to the class as a whole.
Alternatively, would you rather questions make great writing prompts. Students choose one question, come up with their answer, and write a paragraph to support their decision.
Around the campfire, it's just about chatting and debating the silly questions. Maybe the questions will spark a memory or lead to a further discussion. That's what I love about these questions - you never know where the answers will take you.
