Printable Valentine's Day Bookmarks to Colour
Valentine's Day bookmarks to color
card stock paper
pencil crayons
double-sided tape
Okay, let's have some fun! First up, you will want to print our Valentine's Day bookmarks to color. I like to print the bookmarks on card stock. Using cardstock means the bookmarks are more durable than regular paper. Also, whatever you choose to colour your bookmarks with will look a little brighter if you use cardstock. However, feel free to use whatever type of paper you have on hand.
Next up, you can simply gift the uncoloured bookmarks as is. Or, you can cut out the bookmarks and pass them around to each student in your class. However you choose to use them, it's a good idea to cut them out before setting them down to colour the bookmarks.
Now it's time to colour the bookmarks. We typically use pencil crayons, but you could also use markers or crayons. I also like the idea of adding some glitter to the bookmarks. Why not?! Again, whatever you have on hand will work.
Once the bookmarks are coloured they are ready to be used. I like to add a second layer of colourful cardstock to our bookmarks. Again, it makes them a little sturdier and I like the pop of colour around the edge. All you have to do is use double-sided tape to secure the coloured bookmark to a brightly coloured sheet of cardstock. Then cut out the colorful cardstock slightly larger than the bookmark, creating an edge around the bookmark. Done.
