I think that everyone loves curling up on the couch and watching a Christmas movie. Every December we pull out out Christmas movie checklist and make our way through all of our fave Christmas movies. This year I wanted to create a new Christmas game and decided it would be fun to make a printable Christmas movie emoji game.

Every year we gather with my extended family during the holidays and we love playing games. Simple printable games that everyone can play. And, I know that everyone knows all the emojis we can find on our phones. So, I created this Christmas movie emoji game...with answers too.

How to play the Christmas movie emoji game?
To play the game print off a copy of the game for everyone who is participating. Hand everyone a game sheet and a fun Christmas pencil. If you are playing with a large group, you could form small groups or teams, who will work together on a single sheet.
Now, set a timer for 10 minutes. If you want it to be more challenging you could set a shorter timer. Or, if you want to make it a little easier you could extend the time, it's up to you. Start the timer.
The participants must look at the emojis and come up with the name of the Christmas movie. The emojis represent people, places, or things that happen in the movies. I've used classic Christmas movies that everyone has seen or is aware of. Some of the movies are more challenging than others, but I tested this out with my family and they were able to come up with the answers.
Write the name of the movie on the line provided on the sheet. When the timer comes to an end each player should write their name on the sheet and submit it to the gamekeeper. Tally up how many movies the player has correct and the player with the most movies correct wins.
What the player wins is totally up to you. You could go for a candy cane prize...easy peasy. Or, you could gift one of the movies on the list. I think a little bag of movie popcorn would make a fun prize. You may have more than one winner too!
