Over the years I have shared so many fun, free Christmas printables - games and activities of all sorts. While I do love a fun Christmas game, I've come to realize that I love activities that help me, and my kids, slow down a little. This is why I've created these printable Christmas wreath coloring pages.

With all the hustle and bustle I can feel totally overstimulated during the weeks leading up to Christmas. And, I've noticed that at the end of the school day, my kids are overstimulated too. I've learned there is an easy way to relax and to help my kids relax...doodling and coloring. This is why I love to zentangle and why I love creating coloring pages. And, great news for all the teachers out there, coloring can help in the classroom too.

How to use our printable Christmas wreath coloring pages
Great for the classroom or home. As I said, coloring can be relaxing for adults and kids. My top tip for making the experience chill and festive is to put on some Christmas music. Find a low-key Christmas playlist and set the mood. Gather up all the art supplies and you are ready to color.
Print our Christmas coloring pages on regular printer paper and use them simply as an activity to pass the time during the holidays. Alternatively, these wreaths can be turned into a garland. Print on card stock and once they are colored tape a row of wreaths to a length of string and create a Christmas wreath garland to hang around your house. I love this idea!
Blank Christmas Wreath Coloring Page
This Christmas coloring sheet offers the opportunity for kids to be totally creative. What will they add to their blank Christmas wreath? Think beyond pencil crayons. Maybe you have Christmas stamps or stickers that could be added to the wreath. Or, perhaps kids could cut their Christmas wish items from a catalog and glue them all around the wreath. Glitter glue and puffy paints would be fun too. There is no end to how these blank Christmas wreaths can be decorated. It's up to your imagination.
Christmas Wreath with Baubles Coloring Page
This coloring page is a wreath with Christmas balls. The Christmas baubles can simply be colored or they can be filled with Christmas zentangle patterns and designs. Or, they could be filled with glitter glue to create sparkly Christmas baubles. It might be fun to use white glue to adhere pom poms to the blank baubles!
Christmas Wreath with Balls and Candy Canes Coloring Sheet
The Christmas wreath with baubles and candy canes is another lovely coloring sheet for kids of all ages. I mean, who doesn't love candy canes!? And, these ones can be whatever color or flavor you like!
All of our printable coloring sheets are fun for both the classroom and at home. In the classroom, these sheets could be used in conjunction with reading a Christmas book, or along with watching a holiday movie. Pop on some Christmas music, pour a mug of tea, and take a little time to yourself to color the wreaths. Coloring is meditative for adults too!
