The Green Living Show brings together these innovative pieces in one space. Imagine growing fresh produce in your kitchen with a Nutritower. Or, check out Canadian designed LIFT bike from Revelo. This bike is light and foldable - perfect for urban commuters. Dalinci Stainless Steel has created beautifully designed stainless steel food containers. These containers are not only beautiful, but their design mean they have no crevices for bacteria to hid, they are plastic free and dishwasher safe.
IKEA Sustainable Living We all know that IKEA has always been at the head of innovation when it comes to design and waste reduction. The IKEA Canada exhibit will provide visitors with an interactive space to learn all sorts of cool ways to reduce household waste, live healthier, save money and save the planet.
Food Foodies have not been forgotten at the Green Living Show. The Delicious Local Food & Drink Pavilion will showcase over 20 chefs, breweries and wineries. The chefs will be sharing family favourite recipes using local ingredients. In fact, Pfenning Farms is donating 300lbs of mishaped organic produce for the chefs to use...diverting this food from the compost pile. Foodies will also be inspired by the exhibitors in the health and food area of the show.
Eco Kid Zone The folks from EcoParent Magazine, Ontario Parks, NatraCare and Earth Day Canada have created an interactive play and learn area for kids. Visiting kids will have a blast exploring a campsite and learning how to fish. Earth Day Canada is hoping that Canadian families will get outside and play this Earth Day, so there will be plenty of space for kids to build, create and play.
