Virtual Book Club for Kids Author April's Author ~ David Shannon

By Jen

We've been busy getting ready for this month's Virtual Book Club for Kids. Last month we had such a great time reading Julia Donaldson books. This month's author is David Shannon and I am really looking forward to digging a little deeper into Shannon's catalogue of books. I think everyone in the world is familiar with the "No, David!" series of books...silly stories involving the young boy David on his mischievous adventures. The girls and I are doing our best to seek out lesser known Shannon books. There is something about hunting for a new, great book to read. Do you have a favourite David Shannon book? Got a recommendation for us?
If you would like to participate in the Virtual Book Club for Kids, read a David Shannon book with your child, or your students. Create an game, craft or activity to go along with the book. Come back on April 15th and share what you have done with us here. If you have post you can link it up. Or, you can leave us a comment on the Virtual Book Club for Kids Facebook Page. We would love to see what you have been up to.

Looking for more ways to connect with your kids, why not follow Kitchen Counter Chronicles on Facebook, Pinterest, Google + and Twitter.
