Outdoor Play Party - Best of 2012

Welcome to winter. It is hard to believe that it's that time of the year again. We are only a week away from the end of 2012. Time really does fly when you are having fun...especially when you are having fun outside. Over the last year the girls and I have had a great time playing and learning outside. Today I thought it would be fun to share a few of our favourite activities from 2012.

Outdoor Skating Series...last year we travelled all around our city, Toronto, skating outdoors. It was an incredibly fun activity for every member of our family. We cannot wait to strap on our blades and hit the ice this winter.

Apple Bag Toss...with some scraps of fabric and some rice, we made these cute little apple bags. Take them outside and you have endless games to play.

Getting Ready for Spring...yep, on this first day of winter, I'm already thinking about spring. Well, I'm dreaming and looking back at how we were preparing our garden for the growing season ahead.
