We've shared all kinds of fun Mother's Day ideas over the years - crafts, activities, and recipes. But, as the kids get older it can be harder to find fun things for older kids to make for Mother's Day. This is why I've been focusing on creating crafts and Mother's Day activities and crafts for tweens and teens to share with moms. These printable Mother's Day coupons are catered to tweens and teens.

What I've learned, from raising a couple of awesome teenage girls is that our relationship has shifted and changed over the years...right? And as our relationship has evolved and grown I love finding funny ways to connect with them. This is the exact goal of these Mother's Day coupons...finding fun ways to make meaningful connections with older kids.
Mother's Day Coupons for Tweens and Teens
our Mother's Day coupons
white cardstock
Print our Mother's Day coupons on white cardstock and they will be a little more durable and more like an actual ticket. However, if you only have regular printer paper, go for it. Once you have printed out the coupons you can tuck them inside a card you are giving your Mom.
There are a couple of really great things about these coupons. First of all, they are totally versatile. The coupons themselves don't make reference to "Mom", so they can be gifted to the "Mom" in your life. Whether that's an aunt, a teacher, or a special friend. And, why not gift them to Dad for Father's Day? They would also be great for a friend or a grandparent. So, while these may seem to be just for "Mom" why not gift them to your sister or brother!?
The other thing I love about these coupons is what they are actually for.
- movie night - in or out
- coffee date - or tea
- make dinner
These are all wonderful ways to show someone that you love them and want to spend time with them...without coming out and saying it. You know what I mean? I love stealing little moments in time with my big kids. It is always special when I convince them to join me at our local coffee shop. The conversations we have are wonderful, and silly and grow our connection.
And, who doesn't want to watch a movie with their kids? Wait, and I get to choose? Yes! Will it be an oldie, at home with a bowl of chips or a new release at the theatre and a big box of popcorn?
I've also included a couple of tween and teen-specific coupons. I think parents can all relate to the remarkable accumulation of dishes that teens have a knack for making. Whenever we run out of bowls, I know to head to my daughters' rooms.
And, a day without arguments...ahhh. We don't really "argue" all that much, but there are definitely a lot of complaints, "do I have to wash the dishes?", "do we have to do that?" A day of peace would be so nice, wouldn't it? I think this one is just silly and will be fun to see put into action.
Well, you know I had to include a "Mom's Choice" coupon. This coupon gives whoever receives these the opportunity to come up with their own idea. Maybe it's another outing, maybe it's a special meal, who knows what Mom will come up with.
So, which coupon would you most like to receive? And, which coupon would you most like to share with the Mom in your life?
