Green Living Goals for Families

By Jen

Here we go. Over the years we have learned an awful lot about our impact on the environment. Our family eco-challenges have introduced us to so many alternative, eco-friendly ways to live our lives. The thing is...the challenge isn't over. With each passing day we learn about new ways that we could be lessening our impact on the natural environment. So, it's time to set some goals for the year ahead. It's time to take stock in what we've done and what we can do better. Green Living Goals for Families - Live a little greener with this list of simple ways to decrease your family's impact on the environment. | Green Living Families | Eco-Friendly Ideas | Natural Parenting |

Let's be honest we can do better. It's time to be honest about the great strides we've made and the things we still can't wrap our heads around. Like, why am I still bringing home plastic bags from the grocery store and why am I still using paper cups at the coffee shop?!

Living a greener life is tough. The conveniences in life are constantly fighting against our desire to be eco-warriors. For families this challenge is even greater. Let's face it...with most positive eco-changes there is a greater upfront cost. So, this year let's take a look at those costs and what are the long term saving we can actually see. So, let's do this. Kicking off another year of little changes that can have a BIG impact.

Do you and your family have any green living goals? Let me know in the comments below.
