Green Life - Grab a sweater?

It's that time of the year again. Time to shake the dust off your old sweater, throw it on and turn down the thermostat. If only for one day. That's all the WWF (World Wildlife Fund) is asking you to do on February 9th (tomorrow) National Sweater Day.
Since this has been such a warm winter our boiler (we have radiant heat) hasn't had to work as hard as normal. However, on February 9th we'll be joining thousands of Canadians and turning down our thermostat by just a few degrees. Only a few degrees can really mean so very much.
This year, WWF is enlisting the help of a group of grandmothers to promote this cause. You can register to have a friendly reminder call from a grandmother made to your home. Seriously! My call is booked for this morning...can't wait! Simply head over to the Sweater Day site and choose a grandmother that you would like to have phone your home. Should be hilarious, I will let you know how it goes.
For now, I'm off to pick out which sweaters my daughters, my husband and I are going to cozy up in tomorrow. What will you be wearing?
