Well, last year I made a set of printable Mother's Day coupons and they were super duper popular. So, I knew I had to create a set of Father's Day coupons for tweens and teens to give to the Dad in their lives. And, I had fun adding these coupons to our collection of fun Father's Day activities and games for Dad.

First up, it can be hard for tweens and teens to come up with a gift for Dad. Does he really need another tie or pair of socks? Maybe, but maybe not. And, I don't know about you, but I know my husband always loves a gift that is a little extra meaningful, and that's exactly what these coupons are.

When I designed these coupons for Dad, I wanted to create coupons that were perfect for an older kid to gift. Which is why you will find a coupon for "remove all dishes from my room". Nothing makes a parent happier than seeing the mountain of plates, bowls, and glasses removed from a child's bedroom. What a great gift for Dad.
And, we also have a coupon for a day of "yard work" or "cleaning out the car". I know that our backseat is always a little messier than the front seat...kids. Which is why offering to help clean the car is a great treat for Dad (and Mom). And, while some of these coupons may seem like the kids' usual chores, these coupons are presented without complaints..."I'll cut the grass later" won't be heard when Dad redeems these coupons.
Of course, I had to include some fun activity coupons, too. If you are the parent of tweens and teens, then you know it can be tough to find the time to connect with our tweens and teens. Their social and sports, and activities schedules are busy, and our work and life schedules are busy. Wouldn't it be nice to go on a coffee shop date with Dad? Or, go check out a new movie together. Yep, these are all memory-making activities.
The best part about these coupons is that they are super easy to print on cardstock paper and pop inside a Father's Day card, and the gift is done. Of course, the kid has to follow through on their coupon tasks, but that's all part of the fun.
Which coupon do you think the Dad in your life would want to use first?
