Virtual Book Club for Kids : Getting Ready for Amy Krouse Rosenthal

By Jen

VirtualBookClub
I am so excited about the author being featured this month...Amy Krouse Rosenthal. I am never very good with remembering author's name, but I remember their artwork and their text. I used to love reading Little Pea to my girls when they were younger. The simplicity of the illustrator's artwork is so charming and her stories are hilarious.

Thanks to the Virtual Book Club for Kids, I have been exploring Rosenthal's library of work further, and I am really looking forward to selecting a book for next week's book club.

Amy Krouse Rosenthal has a magnificent website (www.whoisamy.com) that features her children's books, books for grown ups, videos, radio program and she even has a blog. We have been having a lot of fun exploring the site.

Would you like to participate in the book club? Choose a new or old favourite Amy Krouse Rosenthal book. Be inspired and create a craft, activity, food or whatever.  Come on by on October 15th and link up your post at the Virtual Book Club for Kids blog hop!
