We love making and sharing these printable bookmarks for kids. Our Easter bookmarks would make a fun addition to the kids' Easter egg hunt. Roll them up and pop them inside the plastic Easter eggs. Or, print enough for the entire classroom and you have a creative Easter activity for students.
My favorite way to share these bookmarks is with a good book. What about a book about bees or a gardening book and of course we have shared a collection of the best Easter chapter books. There are so many interesting books to gift to kids for Easter.
Printable Easter Bookmarks to Color
white cardstock and colourful cardstock
our Easter bookmarks to color
scissors
pencil crayons or markers
double-sided tape
The first step is to print our easter bookmarks to color. We like to print our bookmarks on cardstock. The heavier paper means the bookmarks are a little more durable and the pencil crayon colors are a little brighter. But, you could totally print the bookmarks on whatever paper you have on hand.
Once you have the bookmarks printed it is time to cut each bookmark out and get to coloring. Use whatever tool you like to color the bookmarks. I like using pencil crayons and markers. You could totally get creative with adding glitter glue, crayons, or even add some Easter stickers.
Once the bookmarks are colored they are ready to be used or gifted. However, I like to add a second layer of colorful cardstock to our bookmarks. I cut strips that are a little wider than the bookmark and use a few strips of double-sided tape to adhere the two pieces of cardstock together. I like the look of the double paper and it makes them even more durable. You could use colourful construction paper too...or skip this extra step altogether. If you have access to a laminator, feel free to laminate the bookmarks.
If you'd like to gift these in a child's Easter basket, simply print the uncolored bookmarks with add a set of pencil crayons and a new book to complete the gift. Now your child can enjoy coloring the bookmark and reading a new Easter book too!
