Oops, I did it again. I made another adorable edible Easter Bunny platter. I've already shared an Easter Bunny veggie tray and now I've gathered up all the fruit and made an adorable Easter Bunny fruit tray. He's the perfect addition to your Easter buffet and another fun addition to our collection of creative Easter party platters.

There is something so delicious about a big pile of fruit. A fruit tray is a fun treat to make for dessert or to bring along to a potluck party. But, what if you kick that fruit tray up a few notches this Easter? Make a super cute Easter Bunny shaped fruit tray. Once you have all the prep work done, the creation of the bunny is so much fun to do. Have the kids lend a hand and then enjoy sharing your masterpiece with friends and family.

How to Make an Easter Bunny Fruit Tray

11" x 14" pink baking sheet
paring knife
pineapple
strawberries
blueberries
raspberries
green grapes
apple
toothpicks

Okay, let's have some fun building this fruity bunny. I started with a cute pink baking sheet. If you don't have a pink baking sheet, you could totally use another colour or a regular sheet pan. I like using a baking sheet because the sides help to keep everything in place. However, you could build this on a large cutting board too.

First thing is first, we need to clean the fruit and do some slicing. you'll want to break down the pineapple into bite-sized pieces and trim the strawberries. Once all the fruit is cleaned, set it aside to dry.

We began by making the bunny's head from pineapple. Pile the pineapple to make a nice round face and long bunny ears.

Next up, it's time to create the fruit bunny face. I used a fuzzy little raspberry for the nose and a couple of blueberries for the bunny's eyes. I carved up a strawberry to make the little mouth. I took advantage of the natural curve in the strawberry. The whiskers are made from thinly sliced pieces of apple. And don't forget the sliced strawberries that make the inner ear. An extra cute detail.

Now that the fruit easter bunny is made it's time to fill all the fruit around the Easter bunny platter. What fruit does your family love? What fruit is readily available where you live? We filled ours with layers of grapes, raspberries, strawberries, and a sky full of blueberries. I liked how the blueberries contrasted with the yellow bunny ears.

Okay, you might be wondering how to serve this festive fruit tray. I like to keep a couple of cups filled with toothpicks at the side of the platter. People can poke their fruit pieces. Plus, anytime I make a fruit platter I like to make a batch of either our chocolate fruit dip or our healthy fruit dip. They make the perfect addition to any fruit platter.
