Back to School Giveaway

By Jen

Happy New Year Everyone! If you are a parent, then you know that the first day of school is the real new year. Forget January 1st - the year begins in September. Summer vacation is over and the kids are ready for school day routines. Regular bedtimes, regular wake-up times, proper meals and homework...yep, the year has begun. The perfect time for a back to school giveaway.back to school giveaway

What about us parents? Around our house I look forward to the routine too. I also enjoy the beginning of the change of seasons. Right now we are busy harvesting vegetables from our garden and saving seeds for next spring. With the start of school, comes the cooling of our climate. The summertime flowers are finishing off their blooms and the fall plants are starting their show. I am so excited to help you celebrate the changing seasons - to ring in the new year - with a fabulous giveaway. fall mums

It's time to celebrate the new year! Today, I am running a giveaway for a $50 PC® gift card. The garden centre at Loblaws is fully stocked with fall chrysanthemums and hardy cabbages. Pop a potted mum into your urns and planters and change the look of your outdoor spaces. The autumn indoor decor has arrived as well. It's the perfect time to do a little shopping. There are so many, many ways to spend a $50 President's Choice® gift card. The giveaway is eligible to Canadians (except Quebec residents) and will end at midnight on Sunday, September 7th.

I wish today was the first day back to school, but living in BC it looks like instead the "school of Mom" is about to begin! One of my favourite days of the year is the first day...we are usually all so excited!

I would splurge on some fall flowers. I always get 2 for the front door, but it would be fun to have lots!
