Are you getting your daily dose of outdoor play?

Sometimes it can be hard to get outside and play everyday. In our house we try and think of outdoor play as being just as important as eating from all the food groups. An integral part of our lives. Even with this level of enthusiasm, sometimes it is hard to get outside. Our lives indoors can get in the way. Well, here is a fun way to motivate you to get outside! My friend Kari over at Active Kids Club and the good folks at Polarn O. Pyret have put together a one week challenge to get families outside.
Every Day is a Play Day Week runs from November 14th to November 19th. Take a trip over to Active Kids Club and Polarn O. Pyret's Facebook pages where you can share your outdoor adventures, chat with other families and enter contests. If you are a blogger there is even a contest for you...so, head on over to Active Kids Club and find out all the details.
As for our family we will be heading outside next week, but what will we be doing?
Well, we might....

Harvest more herbs

Create some artwork on our outdoor chalkboard

Head out on an adventure at the Brickworks

Go rock collecting and make some rock art

These are just a few of the ways we enjoy the outdoors. We can't wait to share some more with you next week. And, we especially can't wait to hear what you get up to!
