I think the phrase "kids say the darnest things" exists for a very good reason. Don't you? When you ask kids a question, you never know what kind of response they are going to give. That's why I created this Father's Day printable. I wanted to provide a fun and funny gift for all the Dads and caregivers out there.

printer paper
colored pencil crayons
All you have to do is download and then print our All About Dad sheet. Then, gather up some colored pencil crayons, crayons, or markers and let the kids do the rest. If your students, or child, is too young to read, you can ask the child the questions and then fill in the answer yourself.

In the upper section, I've asked a few basic questions about Dad's favorite things. Questions like...
- what is Dad's favorite color?
- what is Dad's favorite food?
- what is Dad's favorite animal?
I've also included a few open-ended questions for kids about their Dad. Questions like...
- Dad always laughs when...
- My favorite thing to do with my Dad is...
- My Dad always says...
- I love my Dad because...
And, I've included an empty picture frame where kids can draw a picture of their Dad. It's always fun to see what kids think their parents look like.

This is a creative coloring page for Dad. There are plenty of spots that kids can color and add their own personality to the page.
In a classroom or daycare setting, you could sit and discuss the questions with the children in a group before they sit down to work on their sheets. The entire class could chat about what they think about the Dad in their life.

I've included a Canadian - with all the missing "u's" added in. So, whether you're celebrating Dad south or north of the border, you've got the perfect version.
I think the Dads in your kids' lives are going to have fun reading these answers, and this will be a keepsake Father's Day activity that they'll enjoy for many years to come.
