What a glorious Sunday. The sun was shining, the breeze was cool, but not too cool and the soup was hot. We had a great time at Soupstock. What a amazing way to raise money and awareness for a great cause; stopping the creation of a mega-quarry that will destroy masses of farmland and have a grave impact on our watershed. Who doesn't feel the love in a bowl of soup. You can't help but appreciate the time and effort that goes into making a simple bowl of soup. So, we rode our bikes down to Soupstock...valet bike parking provided by Cycle Toronto (formerly the Toronto Cyclists Union).
We did some celebrity chef stalking. I love that my kids were the ones pointing out their favourite chefs.
We enjoyed the music and the speakers.
And, most importantly, we enjoyed some soup.
