Summertime Fun List - Mid-Summer Check In

By Jen

summertime fun list check in
Way back in June the girls and I sat own and put together our Summertime Fun List...a list of things we all wanted to do this summer. Here we are in the middle of the summer and it's time to check in and see how we are progressing. To be honest, it's time to take a second look at the list and inspire the rest of our summer.

Here is the rundown...

go bike riding, learn to ride the trails - DONE
go to Toronto Island - NOT DONE YET
mini-putt - NOT DONE YET
make a tee-pee - NOT DONE YET
learn about new animals - DONE
learn to play chess - NOT DONE YET
go berry picking - NOT DONE
go see Picasso at the AGO - NOT DONE YET
visit different libraries in the city - DONE
play at the beach - DONE
CNE - HASN'T STARTED YET
make a fort in the basement - DONE
play with our new puppy - DONE

So, as you can see there are quite a few things still left to do on our list. Isn't it amazing how quickly summer passes by. Right now my girls are at their grandparent's house for a few days. I am going to take advantage of my time home alone and do some planning and preparing for the second half of the summer. It's time to go mini-putting, go to the Toronto Island and build a tee-pee.
Have you accomplished everything you have planned to do this summer? What is still on your summertime to do list?
