Summer Farm Camp in the Big City

This week has been my favourite week so far this summer. My kids were in camp. You might think I love camp week because it means the kids are away. Yes, that is an added bonus. What I love most about camp week is the camp experience my kids have.farm camp 1

We are so fortunate to have a beautiful, tranquil and idealic farm in Toronto. My girls have been attending camp here for the last 6 years. A week or two is all they need. A week at the farm. Playing outside, learning about farm animals, singing camp songs, preparing food from the garden they tend and learning new skills like felting, with wool from the sheep at the farm. It really is this lovely.

It's time for the Outdoor Play Party. There were a lot of great posts linked up to the last party. I really enjoyed P is for Preschool's collection of backyard water games. I know my kids love getting outside and playing in the water.
