Kitchen counter confidential

There are a lot of incredible women around. Running families, successful businesses and living healthy lives. In an attempt to introduce you to some amazing women I will be asking these 5 simple questions to one woman every week.

This week I am introducing you to a fabulous woman I have know for over 10 years. Here is what Veronica Slater had to say about her life and her kitchen counter...

Question 1: Tell me 3 things about yourself.
Answer:
-I have 4 great kids (14-4 years old).
-I was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Lived in Montreal. Will always call Toronto home.
-I love gifting and vintage purses.

Q2: Are you for, or against, small appliances being kept on the kitchen counter?
A: I am without the shadow of a doubt 'against' them but life is not a magazine, so the coffee maker and my electrical froth maker are permanent counter fixtures. Technically the toaster and the kettle are also on the counter, but they're out of sight in an "appliance garage".
Q3: Name 5 things that are on your kitchen counter right now.
A: - Bowl of fruit that I change everyday
- A salt and pepper antique shakers
- 3 beautiful bottles from Morocco
- My kid's favourite cooking books are stalked under a small plant that has been there forever
- A bottle of wine too, but that's 6 things ...

Q4: Name 1 thing that you would like to change about your kitchen counter?
A: I wish it was less popular! It's a real people and stuff magnet.

Q5: What is your favourite thing to do on your kitchen counter?
A: I love to cook, and I'm not alone. It's such a treat to spend time cooking with the kids or my husband.

When Veronica isn't busy with her 4 beautiful children and her busy home in Toronto she is sharing her personal style and wisdom on her uber-cool blog www.veronicaslaterpresents.blogspot.com. Veronica discusses anything from home organizing and design, to her love for all things vintage...specifically her passion for vintage purses.

In a recent post Veronica addressed how to properly and safely clean a purse. I hadn't really thought about this before...but your purse goes EVERYWHERE...and often ends up on your kitchen counter! It needs to be clean. Check Veronica out when you are looking for the perfect gift for someone you love...and need a personal shopper...she's the woman for the job.

Who will we quiz next...maybe you?!

I love Veronica's kitchen counter - especially the bottle of wine. 😉
