Thankful for...part 2

By Jen

It really has been a pleasure putting together these "thankful for" posts. It is so amazing to see what thoughtful and funny things people had to say. A good example is the first answer I would like to share...from my husband.

1. You
2. Kids
3. Health
4. Phil Dumphy
5. Bunk Morland
6. my new leather jacket

See, thoughtful and funny. Here are some more of your thoughts.

No brainer.  My health.  Every day.  🙂     I guess I should also be thankful for my family's health as well - don't want to be too selfish.  lol.

K.C. Toronto, Ontario

This year, I am most thankful for family, in particular

the safe arrival of my baby boy, Alexander 🙂

J.T. Brooklyn, Ontario

For loving me, just the way I am.

AF - Maastricht, Netherlands

I am thankful for my kids & husband, my twin sister who I love to chat with every day
on the phone, trials/challenges that make me a better person,

and our gorgeous California weather. 🙂

KB - California, USA
I am thankful for the family of course, especially my children who remind me everyday that love does not require money and materialistic things.  I am thankful for my husband, who loves me unconditionally and is my best friend.  I am thankful for my mom who has shown such strength in the past few years and is an inspiration.

And most of all I am thankful for the wonderful years I had with Will,
because although it was hard to lose him, he taught me what true love, strength, determination and courage is all about!!

W.A.C Bowmanville, Ontario

I Am Thankful For Running-I am thankful that I have found
something that allows me to get away from it all a few times a week.
My health has improved, I have developed wonderful new friendships and

I love the feeling of accomplishment.

A.D. Ajax, Ontario

I have so many things to be thankful for. I'm thankful to the Universe. I'm thankful for living. Thankful for my children, my friends, my family, all the support I have.
I'm thankful I have a roof over our heads and food in the fridge.
I'm thankful for my voice because I love to sing.
I'm thankful for my hands that make and create things.

P.R. Toronto, Ontario

Besides the obvious, family, friends, health, the first thing that came to mind
when I read your question was that I am so thankful to be
living across the street from the library,
my books are my solace.

H.F. Niagara on the Lake, Ontario

I was trying to think of poetic things and ways to say what I am thankful for - there is so much - but in the end I think it does come back to the basic - health.

C.L. Toronto, Ontario

Of course I'm thankful for the usual, family, friends & health.  But to be in the position we are to be a support, when needed, by our children and grandchildren is very satisfying.  This was our main objective to moving to BC five years ago.  As parents of a young family, you and Andrew know how important it is to have a support system close by in time of need.  That's what we are for Jenn, Andrew, Simon and Dylan.  Even though Scott lives as far away as he does, we are also his "main" support team.

P.C. Vancouver, British Columbia

Family, of course. I'm also very thankful for the opportunity to stay home with my girls!

"Thanksgiving" - by Ralph Waldo Emerson

For each new morning with its light,
For rest and shelter of the night,
For health and food,
For everything Thy goodness sends,
We thank you Lord
L.G. Picton, Ontario
