I love hosting kid birthday parties. The planning, the decorating and of course the baking. We involve our kids in the birthday planning. We pick the theme together and negotiate our way through all the details. 
Over the years, we've had some epic parties. My daughter's owl birthday party was a blast. As was her wintertime sledding birthday party.However, it is always nice to have a couple of little surprises in store for the birthday girl.

Take a look at the awesome new birthday clips for kids. If you search "birthday" in Netflix you will find a selection of 14 different birthday themed clips from some of the most popular kids' programs. They have every kid covered - from preschoolers thru to tweens. Titles include; Beat Bugs, LEGO Friends, Pokemon, Skylanders, Trollhunters, My Little Pony and more. My daughter loved the Project MC2 birthday clip.
Which birthday clip will you play on your child's birthday? Can't decide on just one? Go for it! Play a whole bunch. Kids will love it when their favourite characters wish them a happy birthday!
Do you find hosting birthday parties to be stressful? I know that many families do. In fact, Netflix did a little research and discovered what causes the most stress. Not surprising, money is at the top of the stress list. I suppose this is why I love this extra special birthday surprise - it doesn't cost anything and it takes only seconds to do.
