Canada Day To Do

teacher appreciation gift
When I decided to write this post I thought it might be "too little, too late." Yesterday was the last day of school around here. Which could only mean one thing...teacher gifts! When I asked my girls what they wanted to give their teachers they delighted me with their answers. My eldest suggested we give her teacher some veggies from our garden, and my youngest wanted to make her teacher an egg carton bouquet. Maybe this whole "green living" thing is starting to rub off?! Fantastic! So, I think that these are gifts that children can make for anyone, for any reason. Heading to your inlaws for a BBQ this weekend? Why not bring along a gift of veggies from your garden. Here's how they turned out.

Now that you have your hostess gifts picked out...where are you gonna go? There are so many events happening all across Canada this Canada Day weekend. Get out and enjoy! Wherever you are and whatever you do, we hope you have fun and stay safe!

Happy Canada Day!
