Wrapping Up Our Summer #KinderMom

By Jen

The summer of 2014 is coming to an end. Isn't it funny how excited we get to be done with school in June and how much we crave the routine come September. I guess a lifetime of sticking to this schedule has had an affect on us.

The end of August means it's time to look back at our summer...take stock.

This summer was an unusual one. We didn't go camping, we didn't go cottaging, we stuck around the city most of the time. Yet, somehow the time flew by and it feels like we got a lot accomplished. As my youngest kept reminding me "Summer is only 9 weeks long, Mom."

At times those weeks felt l...o...n...g. I'm pretty good at combatting the "I'm bored's" but, children can be so persistent. So, now it's time to wrap up our summer. Did we get to check everything off our summer fun list?

We played a lot of UNO. UNO cards

We went to Canada's Wonderland - for the first time.

We rode our bikes further then we ever have before - so many great summer bike rides.  bike rides  And, we spent a lovely long weekend in Collingwood.

How great is this Kinder® photo strip we created?! It was so easy to make with the Kinder® Smile Booth App. It is easy to share your memories and create a fun photo booth strip too. Simply head to the Kinder® Canada Facebook page and click on the "Smile Booth" App. With a few clicks you upload your pictures, pick a frame, add silly embellishments (if you like) save the strip or share it with your friends.

As our summer comes to an end, we are looking forward to the fall and all that the cooler weather and the regular routine brings. We've already started working on our Fall Fun List...what to do this fall!
