By Jen

3 printable st patrick's day coloring pages for kids

St. Patrick's Day is one of those holidays that I love to celebrate because it is fun...no strings attached fun. It also is a wonderful way to invite spring and everything green into our lives after the cold, grey winter months. So, I wanted to create a set of Happy St. Patrick's Day coloring pages for kids and adults to get creative with.

I love coloring sheets. It's no secret that I find coloring and doodling relaxing and meditative. As an adult, coloring, and doodling is an important part of my self-care routine and it's important for kids too.

I designed 3 different St. Patrick's coloring pages for you to print and color. First up is the classic leprechaun with a pot of gold. For this coloring page, why not add a little glitter? Yep, once you've finished coloring the page, use a paintbrush (or Q-tip) to add some glue to the gold in the pot. Then sprinkle on some gold glitter. This will add a whole new dimension to the coloring sheet.

Next up is our silly leprechaun with flowers and an arching rainbow. I think this page will end up being super colorful. Is the shamrock in the top corner a flower or the sun? You can decide.

Finally, we have the dancing leprechaun with his balloons. I love how joyful this little leprechaun is. He is ready for St. Patrick's Day to arrive.

How to Use Our Printable Coloring Sheets

While I love using these coloring sheets at home, they also make a great addition to the classroom. Coloring sheets are a creative way for students to spend time during those rainy indoor recesses. Once the coloring pages are complete, hang them up and celebrate the holiday with our printable St. Patrick's Day word games.

Which coloring sheet will you print and color first?
