This week kicked off with an unexpected trip for my daughters’. They were off to my inlaws for a couple of days. It is always nice to have a little peace and quiet in the house. But, let’s face it…I totally missed those little monkeys! So, what happened around here…

Monday was all about enjoying peaches…a delicious peach and mint salsa recipe.

On Tuesday, we shared tips for kids and bike safety…the girls have been learning the importance of using hand signals while bike riding.

We took a look at our Summertime Fun List on Wednesday…what do we still have to do in the second half of the summer?

Our summer library tour took us to the heart of the city and an amazing library…check out the children’s collection!

On Friday, we introduced Kevin Henkes as the featured author for the August edition of the Summer Virtual Book Club for Kids.

If you were wondering where our Australian expedition for Around the World in 12 Dishes went…well stay tuned because we have a fantastic recipe for you tomorrow…one week late, but still delicious!

Hope you have a great weekend!
