The Victoria Day long weekend has come and gone. What a gorgeous weekend it was. The sun was shining the entire weekend here in Toronto. It look like it might rain all day today, which would be perfect for all the flowers and veggies we planted over the weekend. I think every muscle in my lower body is aching...gardening is hard work. Here's a glimpse into what we got up to this weekend.
We spent a lot of time in the garden...after a trip to our local garden centre...the girls did some posing in the tulips...and Arthur had a blast sprinting in the park with the girls. It really was a lovely weekend. Today, I'm cleaning up and organizing for the last push of school until summer arrives. Dance season is coming to an end and soccer season starts tonight...summer really is just around the corner.
I'm also taking some time to think about those who are suffering and cleaning up in Oklahoma. The devastation that state and those communities are facing is overwhelming. I am continually awed by the power of nature. The destruction in Oklahoma is a sad reminder of how amazing that power truly is. Take care ~ wherever you are.

I love the photo of the girls! So full of life and youth!
I've always wanted to get into gardening - wish I had this part of the Canadian experience! Looks like such good outside fun!
