Around the World in 12 Dishes - time to take off!

By Jen

The day has finally arrived...the launch of Around the World in 12 Dishes. So, what is it all about? I have teamed up with an awesome group of bloggers on a culinary and crafty trip around the world. Over the next 12 months we will be focusing on 12 different countries. These are the bloggers who are embarking on this journey with me...

Adventures In Mommydom, Creative Family Fun, Domestic Goddesque, Glittering Muffins, Juggling with Kids, Kitchen Counter Chronicles, Mermaids' Makings, Mom 2 Posh Little Divas, Montessori Tidbits, Mummymummymum, The Educators' Spin On It , The Usual Mayhem.

We are kicking things off in the United Kingdom for March. We decided to take on this challenge as a fantastic and fun way to educate our kids about people and places around the globe. Every month we'll be cooking, reading books and creating crafts that reflect our feature country.

The best part is that you get to participate too! If you are a blogger you can grab our button (below) for your site and link up to our linky party. If you aren't a blogger you can share your adventures on the Around the World in 12 Dishes Facebook page. Or, you can head on over to our Pinterest boards (one for crafts and one for food) where you can pin your own ideas or simply explore. We have tried to make this super interactive...we can't wait to see what you make.

Okay, are your bags packed? Are you ready to board your flight? Passport in hand? Off we go to the United Kingdom....
