Today we are all set for another Outdoor Play Party! I cannot wait to see what you have been doing outdoors over the last couple of weeks! The weather around here has been cool and wet, which always leads to lots of time spent with umbrellas and jumping in rain puddles...fun! This past weekend our local farmers' market officially opened for the season. Isn't a farmers' market an amazing place? There is just something about being outside shopping, chatting and snacking that makes me smile...and my kids too!
My girls were in charge of the shopping basket. We picked up some veggies and some apples.
We even picked up an unusual veggie, unusual to us at least, kohlrabi. I think it will make an appearance in tomorrow night's salad!
Then we spent some time playing in the playground, that is situated right next to the market...pretty convenient. I love how these trips to the farmers' market turn into play time for the kids, outside!
