This week for the Outdoor Play Party we are focusing on water play. Well, actually I took my cue from all of you. Last week we had so many awesome posts linked up where kids were playing with water...I had to feature them all. So, today I've put together a collection of super fun water play ideas...from the Outdoor Play Party.
When children play with water it is a multi-sensory experience; touch, taste, sight, smell and sound. The beauty of playing with water is how versatile it truly is. Have you ever thought to freeze water, colour water, use different sized vessels to hold water, get the kids hands in the water, get the kids feet in the water or put toys in the water. There are so many, many ways to play with water. I know when my girls were little they loved it when I filled pots and bowls with water and let them play with and in the water. Now that they are older running around squirting water is a favourite. What is your favourite way to play with water?
