This week will be my one year anniversary of writing this blog (more to come on this on Friday). A year ago I decided to share my family’s personal journey to leading a more eco-aware life. Knowing full well that my opinion is really my own…I have said many times that I am not a scientist! I have taken a look at the posts I have shared every Wednesday. We’ve covered a lot and I know that there are so many more topics to cover. Our lives have changed, for the better over the last year. We’ve learned about toothpaste, deodorant, toilet paper, greening our holidays, growing and preserving our own food, gasoline consumption, how to make our own reusable bags and so much more! I have spent many hours searching the internet and the library over the last year. So, when I thought about how to start off this new year of Green Life I decided the best place to start was to let you know a few of the websites I love. These are some amazing resources that can help us all lead healthier lives.

Some of these resources are Canadian and some are American, but all of these sites offers an amazing array of information that will help lead you to a healthier life for you, your family and the environment around you. In the year ahead I plan to carry on finding out all I can about the chemicals in our lives. If you have an suggestions for topics you would like to see investigated, feel free to leave a comment below or email me directly at kitchencounterchronicles(at)hotmail(dot)ca
